View Progress of Metrodome Roof Repair
“Metrodome Monday” Blog Page Provides New Perspective on Construction Efforts

MINNEAPOLIS (April 25, 2011) — What are those yellow balloons on the roof of the Metrodome? Did they ever find the ball Dave Kingman hit into one of the roof's drainage holes back in 1984? Those are just some of the questions Strother Communications Group (SCG) has pondered as they use their bird's eye view of the Metrodome to document the roof repair efforts. Every Monday the marketing communications agency updates their blog, 41 Stories, with a category aptly titled, “Metrodome Monday.” Photos are taken from the agency's offices on the top floor of the Campbell Mithun Tower.

Metrodome Monday has quickly become one of SCG's most popular blog categories since going live April 4, 2011. “Whenever someone visits our office the first thing they do is look out our windows at the Metrodome,” said Patrick Strother, CEO and chief creative officer of SCG. “We have a blog, the perfect view and a creative staff with the right equipment, so we thought, why not?”
